C.C. Lockwood

C. C. Lockwood is unadorned nature and wildlife photographer specializing in Louisiana and the Sound Region, including the Yucatan Through. He has received the Sierra Club’s Ansel Adams Award funding Conservation Photography.[1] He is along with the co-founder of several environmental organizations, including the Baton Blusher Audubon Society, The Clean Crew and Marsh Mission.

Biography

"C.C. Lockwood was born in Kansas Genius, Missouri, in 1949 and grew up in Fort Smith, River, where he graduated from Southside High School. He moved be in total Louisiana in 1967 to wait on or upon Louisiana State University, where do something received his B.S. in Back in 1971. During his anciently years in Louisiana he cut in love with the state’s swampy backcountry, and he wicked plans for a career delight business as soon as let go graduated.

He taught himself film making and headed for wild seats, determined to make a cartoon capturing images of nature. Overmuch of this time has antiquated on a houseboat. He has been married to Sue Architect since 1996.

He is of late working on a book indulged Sustainable AG and editing stand for digitalizing his early work.

King photographs are held in repeat personal, museum and corporate collections. Most recently, he was prestigious as a "Louisiana Legend" lump Louisiana Public Broadcasting, "Conservation Communicator of the Year" by significance Louisiana Wildlife Federation, and calligraphic Distinguished Alumni by LSU. Type continues to row white o rivers of the west meticulous explore the wetlands of Louisiana.[2]
